Problem Solving Workshop
With my special workshop format, you and your team can find innovative solutions to a clearly defined problem and develop a straightforward action plan. And all that in a single day.
With my special workshop format, you and your team can find innovative solutions to a clearly defined problem and develop a straightforward action plan. And all that in a single day.
Immediately after purchasing the "To Go" offer, you will get access to my member area, where you can book an appointment in my calendar under the first milestone "Kickoff Call". The purpose of the kickoff is for us to get to know each other briefly, clarify the general conditions and set the dates. The whole thing takes about 30-45 minutes.
Based on the briefing, I will set up and prepare a workshop format that will effectively and efficiently get the team to develop solutions to a problem and define clear next steps and responsibilities in just one working day.
In my all-day problem solving workshop, we will develop innovative approaches and solutions together in a timeboxed but fun and enjoyable way. We usually start between 08:00 and 09:00 and aim for the end of the workshop around 17:00. The workshop can take place either remotely or on-site.
After a time defined in the workshop, we meet for a 30 - 45 minute call to discuss and reflect on the progress of the project together.
The more people take part in a workshop, the more inefficient the workshop becomes. But a critical mass of participants is needed in order to maximize perspectives and swarm intelligence. Having facilitated over 150 workshops, my experience is that a workshop with 6 to 8 participants is perfect for finding solutions efficiently and with maximum innovative power.
We can conduct a workshop remotely or on site. If the workshop takes place remotely, I do this via Zoom and with the help of a Miro board.
I love workshops and run them (almost) everywhere. I can run workshops in Switzerland in one day at no extra cost. Outside of Switzerland, I have to charge extra for the travel time to and from the workshop. If an overnight stay is necessary, this will also be charged separately. You therefore need to consider whether a one-day workshop on site is worthwhile or whether we can do a series of workshops or a design sprint together. Just drop me a line so that we can clarify this.
In general, the workshop format can be used to develop solutions for almost any problem. However, the problem to be solved must be clearly defined. For example, a problem such as "How do we solve the climate crisis?" is too broad. Thematically, you can tackle almost any problem, whether it's about a service, a product, team building or a collaboration model. However, I reserve the right to reject workshops whose content is morally questionable or goes against my values. In this case, the money will of course be refunded.
The check-in call is an opportunity to reflect on the commitment that the team makes at the end of the workshop. This means that after a certain period of time, which we also define at the end of the workshop, we come together to discuss the progress of the solution and whether we need to adjust the strategy.
The "To go" format is only intended for a one-day workshop. However, it often makes sense to take more time. I will be happy to make you an individual offer based on your initial situation, the issue and the complexity of the problem. Just drop me a line or book a call via the homepage.
